AFTERCARE

INSTRUCTIONS & HEALING PROCESS
Post treatment care contributes to 70 per cent of the treatments success. Following careful instructions will give you the best possible results for your skin type and promote good healing.

Day 1

You’ll love your new brows!

Starting directly after your appointment until bedtime: Wipe each brow back and forth 8 times (with pressure) every

 

30 MINS   - or -   60 MINS

(as directed by your artist)

NOTE: Use clean cotton pads & water if you run out of the provided wipes



Day 2 - 3

Using clean cotton pads & water, wipe brows 3 times: Morning, noon & night

Day 3 - 12

Leave brows alone for 7 to 10 days until fully healed. Allow them to dry up. During the healing period do not apply makeup, creams or water to the brow area.


Day 6

 If you received the post-care balm, you can start to apply a VERY thin layer each morning until scabs have healed. The balm provided should last 2 - 3 appointments.

THINGS TO AVOID
> First 14 Days <
Avoid steam, water, sun, sauna and solarium
No facial altering procedures are to be done in this time (eg. Botox/fillers, PDO threads, microneedling, etc.)
Do not pick, scratch or peel the healing area
Do not apply any make-up or products on permanent makeup 
Avoid sleeping on the face 
​Avoid direct sun exposure 
Avoid working out to prevent sweating 
Avoid water on permanent makeup for at least 7 days or until healed
Avoid facial massage, facial steaming, and sauna

> IMPORTANT PERMANENT MAKEUP CARE <
Avoid sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, and creams that contain regeneration factors. 
​​
Always avoid laser treatments (eg. Fraxel Laser, IPL, Pixel, etc.) over the treated area, as this can destroy the pigment and cause burns. 
​​
Use of creams, antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.
